Rénoclimat 2026: Rebates Double to $300 per Window Replaced

Since October 1, 2026, the updated Rénoclimat program offers $300 in financial assistance for each eligible window replaced, up from $150 under the previous program. The Quebec government has also eliminated the requirement for a pre-renovation energy evaluation.

Two major changes that make window replacement more accessible for Quebec homeowners.

Double the Financial Assistance for Your New Windows

For an eligible project involving 10 windows, homeowners can now receive $3,000 in financial assistance, compared to $1,500 under the previous program. The rebate can reach up to $4,500 for an eligible home, subject to current program conditions.

This increase gives homeowners greater purchasing power and more flexibility to invest in higher-quality windows.

A Simpler Process for Homeowners

Eliminating the mandatory pre-renovation energy evaluation removes a step that could previously delay or discourage homeowners from moving forward with their projects.
