Getting ready to speak with an advisor

Your time is valuable. This project is important to you. So here are our best tips and tricks on how to make the most of your meeting with an Isothermic advisor.

What should you jot down before meeting with our advisor?

  • The year your house was built
  • Your budget
  • Photos of rooms with windows or doors you want to replace
  • Whether you want a quote that includes installation
  • Preliminary measurements of each window and door to be replaced
  • Photos that show styles and colours you like

Print this list so you don’t forget anything

Knowing the year the house was built will give us an idea of how the walls were built. Recent photos will show us your current room layouts to give us a good starting point on how to advise you. When you write down your preliminary window and door measurements, be sure to note which room they are in. Indicate whether it’s a bathroom, kitchen, living room, main bedroom, or another room.

Are you planning any other work on your home?

If you have any other home renovations planned, please tell your advisor so we can properly schedule the work. We also need time to obtain work permits.

What about design?

Feel free to share your design ideas and tastes with your advisor. Your advisor knows more than just the technical and energy performance aspects — they also know the collections and can suggest the right products for you.

I don’t know how to measure windows and doors!

No problem. Download our user-friendly guides and use them to take preliminary measurements. Have any questions? Your advisor has the answers. We’ve been in the business for over 40 years.
