Living in nature, even from indoors

Marie-Dominique and François are both nature lovers and were keen on designing a cottage in perfect harmony with the forest, using the wood from each maple cut during construction. This desire to incorporate and celebrate the natural surroundings also influenced their choice of windows, particularly in the living room where the couple opted for large, very low windows to bring in natural light and offer the best possible view.

Based on our recommendations, the four fixed windows on the ground floor were designed with tempered glass for better weather and thermal shock resistance. This is the type of advice that led Marie-Dominique and François to call on our expertise!

We had already bought Isothermic doors and windows for our house, and we wanted more of their great service for our cottage project. We didn’t have to shop around!
