An extruded insect screen

We always recommend that our customers invest a little more in an extruded insect screen. Easier to handle and maintain, it’s made of aluminum and does not include the small plastic corner pieces found on standard screens—which tend to yellow or break over time.

Hardware components (such as cranks, operators, multi-point locks, etc.) are used countless times throughout a window’s lifespan. Choosing highquality stainless steel hardware helps prevent issues such as rust or premature wear caused by our harsh climate.

Today, double glazing is standard in Quebec. If you want to go further in improving energy efficiency, consider triple glazing, which is more accessible than many people realize.
